BYMT is bringing to life a theatrical version of the famous documentary series EDUCATING YORKSHIRE this summer at the Square Chapel in Halifax.
Join us and follow the ups and downs of students at a community Academy on their voyage through school life in West Yorkshire. The humour, the angst, the warmth of teenage life in a northern community school comes to life in this unmissable moving musical portrayal filled with astonishing vocals and evocative dancing. With the music and lyrics by composer Adam Howell, the book by Paul Hurt and the production is directed by Ellie Jones, Educating Yorkshire is a heart-warming and entertaining look into a transformative period in young people’s lives.
Join us for all the laughs, the songs and the joy.Educating Yorkshire is produced in association with Two four Broadcast Ltd who created the original TV series and is supported by Arts Council England and the teacher’s union the NASUWT.
