About Nowt
Hailing from Huddersfield, Nowt is a sludge/doom four-piece known for their raw, super-fuzzed, and filthy noise. With a lineup featuring Phil Wheldon (guitars), Dean Wilkes (bass), Christian Lemanski (vocals), and David Wootton (drums), Nowt delivers slow, distorted metal that’s unapologetically loud. Influenced by bands like Charger, Sleep, Khanate, and Crowbar, they combine elements of NWOBHM, industrial, prog, black metal, and hardcore/punk to create their unique sound.
If you’re looking for relentless, noisy filthcore with no frills, Nowt promises to deliver. They plan to hit the studio in summer 2024 to unleash more of their signature sonic chaos.
About SoulGrief
Based in Halifax, SoulGrief is an extreme metal band that explores themes of loss, torment, and eroticism, transforming human anguish into a cathartic musical experience. Drawing inspiration from the 90s Norwegian black metal scene and blending it with experimental contemporary influences, SoulGrief combines powerful riffs with cries of suffering to produce an intense auditory journey.
With members from the harsh electronic act Machine Wraith and various underground metal projects, SoulGrief brings a wealth of live performance experience. Fans of Mayhem, Akercocke, My Dying Bride, and Triptykon will appreciate the dark and evocative sound of this band.
