Paul Weatherhead will delve into the bizarre world of phantom attacker panics, exploring how entire communities can be gripped by fear and paranoia when faced with imaginary assailants. The talk will feature well-known cases such as:
- The London Monster and Spring-heeled Jack
- The infamous Halifax Slasher
- The Halifax Dog Poisoner and Satanic Cat Killers
