Take a step back in time and experience the darker side of Halifax on this immersive Dark Halifax Tour. Organised by Halifax Heritage Tours CIC and Haunted Halifax CIC, this guided walking tour will introduce you to some of the town’s most notorious characters, chilling stories, and historic landmarks.
Starting from The Grayston Unity, the tour will take you through snickets and back streets, offering a glimpse into the grim history of Halifax. From medieval times to the Victorian era and beyond, you’ll hear tales of treacherous tykes, reactive riots, and the infamous Halifax Guillotine. Whether it’s the crafty Coiners or profiteering parishioners, this tour promises an engaging and educational exploration of Horrible Halifax.

Proceeds from ticket sales go toward community and education projects that promote and preserve Halifax’s rich heritage. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult.
