The Halifax Christmas Trail Launches This Weekend
Christmas in Halifax officially begins this Saturday with Light Up Halifax — a brand-new festive event lighting up the town centre for the very first time. And with it comes the launch of a brand-new family activity: the Halifax Christmas Trail.
This free town centre trail invites families to explore Halifax, discover local businesses and enjoy a touch of festive magic along the way.
Find the stars, collect the letters and crack the Christmas phrase
Santa’s elves have been busy getting Halifax ready for Christmas — and they’ve hidden sparkling stars in shop windows across the town centre. Each star holds a secret letter.
Your mission is simple:
-
Pick up a free trail map.
-
Follow the route, spot all the stars, and write down every letter you find.
-
Piece them together to reveal this year’s mystery Christmas phrase.
Once you’ve cracked the code, pop into the Discover Halifax Hub to share your answer and claim your festive treat.
