About Cut Glass Kings
Returning with a fresh outlook and a bold new sound, Cut Glass Kings are back with their forthcoming second album From A Distant Place. After taking time away from performing and re-evaluating during the lockdown, the band has emerged with renewed energy and an evolved sonic identity.
“Having some time away from playing our old songs, and the world going mad for a while in lockdown made it feel like we were starting again. It helped change our own perception of what the band is, and what this album could be. Like we’d killed off an alter ego or something,” says Greg McMurray, drummer and one half of the duo.
Known for their powerful live shows and genre-blending style, Cut Glass Kings deliver a mix of psychedelic pop, rock, and blues with a modern twist. Their sound is characterized by gritty guitar tones, punchy drums, and soaring vocals that create a rich, immersive atmosphere.
